John Rootes

At GroundWork, John oversees project development and implementation. He enjoys the vast array of install locations across the Mojave desert and the solar belt and couldn’t feel more at home in a helicopter in the Sierra Mountains scouting mast locations.

Prior to GroundWork, John worked on the other side of the energy business (oil) and on a boutique resort in Nicaragua He still spends much of his free time down in Nicaragua with friends and family and is an integral part of the continued development. He holds an MBA from Texas Christian University (TCU).

John is at home in San Rafael, California. When in town he enjoys his family, the surrounding beaches (surfing) and mountains (snowboarding).
